34:18. ஆசாரியனாகிய இல்க்கியா என் கையில் ஒரு புஸ்தகத்தைக் கொடுத்தான் என்பதைச் சம்பிரதியாகிய சாப்பான் ராஜாவுக்கு அறிவித்து, ராஜாவுக்கு முன்பாக அதை வாசித்தான்.

34:18. மேலும் சாப்பான் அரசனிடம், "ஆசாரியனான இல்க்கியா ஒரு புத்தகத்தை என்னிடம் கொடுத்திருக்கிறான்" என்றான். பிறகு சாப்பான் அந்தப் புத்தகத்தை வாசித்துக் காட்டினான். அவன் வாசிக்கும்போது அரசனுக்கு முன்பு இருந்தான்.
